FAQ

Straight answers.

01

Do you sell peptides?

No. Peptuity publishes information only. We have no shop, no affiliate links and no supplier relationships.

02

Can you tell me what to take?

No. That is a medical decision and it belongs with a licensed physician who knows your history.

03

Where do the reference figures come from?

They are quoted from published reference material and labelled as such. They are not our recommendations and we do not endorse them.

04

Why is a compound graded low?

Because human evidence for it is thin — not because it does not work. Those are different statements, and we are careful to make only the first.

05

Is this available in Saudi Arabia?

Most compounds discussed here are not approved for human use by the SFDA. We do not advise on obtaining anything, and importing unapproved medicines carries legal risk.

06

Are peptides steroids?

No. Peptides are short chains of amino acids; anabolic steroids are modified cholesterol-derived molecules. Different chemistry, different receptors, different regulation. Some peptides are on the WADA list for other reasons — the chart marks which.

07

Does ‘research use only’ mean unsafe?

It means unapproved. The label is a regulatory statement: no agency has reviewed the compound for human use. It says nothing about safety in either direction — that is a separate question, and for most of these compounds it has not been answered in humans.

08

Can a compound be well-studied and still unapproved?

Yes, and the reverse too. Evidence weight and regulatory status are two different axes. Our grade measures the first; the regulatory card on each compound page states the second. We never collapse them into one verdict.

09

A compound has a convincing mechanism. Is that evidence?

Not on its own. A mechanism explains how something could work; only human trials show whether it does. Many compounds on this site have an elegant mechanism and no human data — they are graded on the data, not on the story.

10

How large does a trial have to be to count?

There is no magic number, but scale matters. A finding in eight volunteers and a finding in two thousand patients are not the same kind of evidence. Each compound page shows the live randomised-trial count, and the chart orders compounds by it.
